Fit & Fruity at Food Truck Festival Trek

 

Last weekend, Food Truck Festival TREK was held in my home town: ‘s-Hertogenbosch. TREK is a free festival where dozens of mobile kitchens transform a city center into a huge outdoor restaurant with live music, theater and acts. As a real foodie, of course I had to be there.

 

I was amazed by the amount of creativity in all of the food trucks. Each truck had its own concept and experience, which was executed to perfection. After walking a few rounds around the festival, it was time to pick what I wanted to eat……TOO MUCH CHOICE!!

 

In the end, I went for a wood fired pizza. I can tell you I didn’t regret that!! It was delicious with a very thin crust, great mozzarella and lots of veggies. While I am writing about it, I am starting to feel hungry again! My boyfriend went for a burger at the ‘Beef Chiefs’. WOW this one was good too! The meat was perfectly cooked and the spicy burger sauce did really complement the burger.

 

Festival TREK has two more stops to go in Amsterdam and Den Haag. So when you’re around..GO..GO..GO
