5 Tips to stay fit during the festival season

During summer, my agenda is filled with music festivals. What I love about festivals? Hanging out with friends, meet new people, sun, good music, crop tops….do I need to say more?!

For me it’s quite a challenge to eat healthy on a festival. Because, how easy is it to just grab a bag of fried potatoes, or kebab or burgers …orrrrrrrrrr all the other not so healthy stuff they’re selling. Isn’t it just mean?

I think it’s not just me struggling ….so 5 tips to stay fit and fruity during the festival season:  

 

1. Festival prepping
    
Make sure you eat healthy and eat enough  in the days leading up to the festival. This makes it easier to resist the temptation.

2. Don’t forget  your vitamins!
    Think you can’t eat healthy at a festival? Think again. Most festivals have places where you can get frozen yoghurt or smoothies.

3. Water to go please
     
Keep a bottle of water on you at all times to stay hydrated. It helps ease the hang over the next morning ;)

4. Healthy snackback

    Stuff your backback with some healthy snacks you can eat during the day. Think of fruit, rice cakes or a granola bar. These snacks will keep your energy     level high, allowing you to hold your front left to the speaker spot for the maximum time.  

5. Dance your ass off
    Burn those calories! Going to a festival is actually an awesome work out. With the perfect dance moves you can easily burn 3500 calories in one day.
