My favourite cookbooks

Cookbooks for me are a source of information and inspiration. I like reading recipes and stories written
by my favourite foodies and also love to try out new recipes.

Time to share some of my favourite cookbooks with you:

1. Honestly Healthy- Eat with your body in mind, the alkaline way

Honestly Healthy is the original alkaline diet cookbook, packed with recipes, tips and tricks to help you
look and feel great. Whatever your needs, be it a short cleanse or total eating habit overhaul, this book
has the right plan for you. With over 100 delish recipes from gourmet vegetarian chef Natasha Corret,
all designed with nutritionist Vicki Edgson to help your energy levels soar, split into breakfasts and
smoothies, starters and soups, mains, snacks and treats, and desserts, you will find everything you need!

2. Chickslovefood  - 5 or less-kookboek

This book is one of my favs because of the simple recipes. When you don't feel like spending hours in the kitchen, this is the one for you! Bloggers Elise and Nina are the authors of this book. This book is filled with recipes that consist 5 or less ingredients.

3. Power food - for a happy and healthy lifestyle
This cook book is created by health goeroe Rens Kroes. In Power food Rens presents her favourite recipes with healthy ingredients for a happy and healthy lifestyle. Rens Kroes is well know for her guilt-free recipes. She invents healhy alternatives for snacks like cake and chips. A must read if you want to turn your bad eating habits into good eating habits!

4. Super grains and seeds - Amy Ruth Finegold
Do you know your chia from your quinoa, your flax from your farro? Grains and seeds possess potent health-giving properties; they are packed with vitamins, dietary fibre and essential amino acids, and are known to support the immune system. But most people don't incorporate enough of these superfoods into their diets, and they are missing out - on both the health benefits and on the flavour! Amy Ruth Finegold has rid herself of the health problems that plagued her and discovered a whole new exciting way to eat by embracing these ancient grains - from amaranth to bulgur, buckwheat to teff.
